Beautiful, countryside surroundings
The House and Garden
Mulgrave Country Cottage is hidden away at the end of a little valley in the village of Sandsend.
The old dower house is surrounded by unspoiled woodland, and is home to all sorts of wildlife, including friendly local squirrels, abundant bird life and buzzards which regularly wheel overhead.
The garden features a sitting area where you can enjoy al fresco meals or drinks, while in the evenings you can light a log fire and enjoy watching the evening unfold.
A small stream runs by the bottom of the lawn.
If you enjoy walking, a gate at the back of the property allows you to head up through Mulgrave woods, where you may see a deer or two, as you find your way over to the cliffs and the Cleveland Way long distance path.
Luxury Bed and Breakfast
Inside the House
The house is spacious and imposing while retaining a homely feel that is cosy and comfortable.
The Living Room is welcoming and warm. It has a wood-burning stove for winter and chilly evenings, squishy leather sofas and cushions, and a cinema size television.
In the morning, in the breakfast room, you can watch the resident squirrels at their feed-station outside the window.
There are five luxury rooms to choose from and a family room if you are planning to come with your children.
All the rooms are superbly comfortable, and each has it's own character.
Two of the rooms have balcony areas, so you can sit out when the weather is fine and enjoy a drink while taking in the peace and quiet.
